At Kalptaru Yatra, we strive to provide smooth and reliable cab booking services. We understand that travel plans may change, and this policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled.
1. Cancellation by Customer
- Cancellations can be made through our website, mobile site, or by contacting customer support.
- Before 24 hours of pickup: Full refund (after deducting payment gateway charges, if any).
- Within 24 hours of pickup: Partial refund may be issued (subject to cancellation fees).
- At/after pickup time (No Show): No refund will be provided.
2. Cancellation by Kalptaru Yatra
If we are unable to provide the booked vehicle due to unforeseen reasons (vehicle breakdown, driver unavailability, etc.), we will:
- Offer an alternate vehicle of a similar category, OR
- Provide a full refund of the booking amount.
Note: Kalptaru Yatra is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by natural calamities, strikes, traffic jams, or government restrictions.
3. Refund Process
- Refunds are always credited back to the original payment method (e.g., bank account, UPI, debit/credit card, net banking, wallet).
- Processing Time: Once approved, refunds are processed by Kalptaru Yatra within 3–5 business days.
- Credit Timeframe: After processing, the refunded amount will be credited to your payment method within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank/payment provider.
- If payment was made in cash at pickup, refunds (if applicable) will be issued via bank transfer after verifying details
4. Non-Refundable Charges
Convenience fees, booking fees, or payment gateway charges are non-refundable.
Toll charges, parking fees, and taxes already paid are non-refundable.
5. Pricing Transparency
All pricing for Kalptaru Yatra services is displayed upfront before booking confirmation.
Prices may vary based on route, vehicle type, seasonal demand, tolls, and applicable taxes.
Additional charges (driver allowances, night charges, state taxes, etc.) will be communicated transparently before final payment.
6. Modifications
Customers may request modifications (change in time, pickup location, or vehicle type) before the trip.
Modification approval depends on availability and may result in fare adjustments.
